We usually begin these reviews with a subject beer but it would not be fair for those of our followers who have never made the trek to Jackson (Jackson Hole), WY to not include some notes on the immediate area.
Jackson, Wyoming, is located near Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, and is a hub for skiing, hiking, rafting, and wildlife viewing. Famous for the Town Square antler arches, diverse dining, and significant art scene.
Their dining scene is second-to-none and features a diverse mix of high-end restaurants, such as Blue Lion, along with other sophisticated and international restaurants that are largely concentrated around Town Square and Teton Village.
As it relates to Jackson’s brew scene, you can refer to other breweries, in addition to Roadhouse, to get an idea of other options on the Wyoming Beer Trail while in Jackson.
Back to our focus on Roadhouse Brewing Company and their “The Walrus” Hazy IPA.
Roadhouse Brewing Company, founded in 2007 in Jackson, Wyoming, by Colby Cox and Gavin Fine, is a chef-driven craft brewery known for its adventurous, high-quality brews and sustainable practices. It produces popular beers like The Walrus, and Family Vacation, operating in the Tetons with a focus on, and a reputation for, sustainability.
Roadhouse Brewing Company operates two distinct locations in Jackson Hole: an elevated Pub & Eatery on the historic Town Square and a production Taproom at their main brewing facility. The brewery specializes in “mountain-style” beers that blend Belgian techniques with American innovation.
