What Brews Are Best In Glass
These standout pours have earned their place in our fridge; here’s why they belong in yours.
Breakside Tastes Like Vinyl Sounds WCIPA
There’s a great balance between dank notes, stone fruits, and other citrus fruits complementing both aroma and flavor. This is a great IPA for first-timers who want to give WCIPAs a spin and equally enjoyable for those seeking a more crushable IPA.
The Drowned Lands Green Yield Hazy IPA
The Drowned Lands Green Yield is absolutely delicious. The pour was milky, most likely due to a grain bill that includes a heavy dose of oats and wheat. Other malts and hops provide a subtle sweetness noticeable in both the front and back-end. All combined you’ll experience a hazy with the right amount of sweetness, and a long-lasting, satisfying finish.
Mind Haze Cosmic Crusher
Mind Haze Cosmic Crusher is bold, tropical, juicy, and all wrapped up in a 9.5% ABV can of deliciousness. This addition to the Mind Haze family focuses on a high-intensity flavor profile characterized by significant tropical fruit notes.
Guinness Foreign Extra Stout
If you’re a fan of Guinness Draught, prepare to “recalibrate your expectations” for the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. It has nearly twice as much horsepower at 7.5% ABV as compared to their standard Guinness Draft to include a massive malt backbone and dark fruit sweetness.
To enjoy everything this extra stout has to offer, try pouring it into a glass at room temperature and let it sit until it reaches +/- 50F to get the full affect.
Blue Moon Extra
The quintessential Belgian-style wheat ale that proved craft-inspired beer could go mainstream without losing its soul. It’s the orange-garnished classic that earned its permanent spot by being consistently refreshing while packing an 8% ABV into a 19.2 oz. can.
Temptress Pecan Pie Imperial Milk Stout
A decadent, boundary-pushing pour from Lakewood Brewing. This isn’t just a stout; it’s a 9.1% ABV liquid dessert that balances a rich pecan pie flavor with the toasted, nutty sweetness of any holiday staple.
Untitled Art Citra Velvet IPA
Intense, juicy, and impossibly smooth—the Citra Velvet IPA by Untitled Art lives up to its name. With a creamy texture and a unique vanilla finish, it’s a standout NEIPA we discovered thanks to Marcelle at HEB. Don’t just take our word for it; make some room in your fridge for this one.
Blake’s Hard Cider
Whether you’re looking for a crisp spring staple or a bold, fruit-forward refresher, it’s clear that Blake’s Hard Cider has earned a spot in the Hopinionated fridge. Blake’s has proven that apples can have just as much attitude and complexity as some of the finest craft brews.
Temptress Dubai Chocolate Stout
This is one of the most heralded flavored stouts from Temptress, a brewery renowned for its mastery of the style. Their penchant for bold experimentation and unique blending has cemented their reputation as one of the most recognized stout producers in Texas.”
Check back often as we rotate in new discoveries that deserve an occasional or permanent spot in your fridge.
Cheers!
