Lone Pint Brewery, opened in 2012 in Magnolia, TX, makes ales that are distinctly, unmistakably Texan. They craft easy-to-drink local brews with an enjoyable hoppiness and delicious flavors and aromas. Their state-of-the-art beer garden and brewery in Magnolia is open every day of the week to serve the core brew, as well as anniversary beers, limited releases, and special series ales.
Lone Pint’s SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) IPA is simple and straight forward brewing process, allowing the true essence of the ingredients to shine through. Occasionally, the simple begets the complex. Yellow Rose is brewed with this philosophy, creating a slightly complex and drinkable IPA.
SMaSH brewing is a minimalist technique using only one malt variety and one hop variety to create clean, focused beers that highlight the specific flavors of the ingredients.
This method is ideal for learning the characteristics of new ingredients, reducing recipe complexity, and mastering brewing precision, often used for pale ales, IPAs, and lagers.

- Homergah “Man. This latest Lone Pint is impressive. I’m not a big Nelson Sauvin fan. But leave it to the Smash kings to knock it out of the park. So very tasty. Clean. Just enough backbone to balance the hop load. Perfect.”
- Jimmypop13 “I just bought some of Lone Pint’s Yellow Rose SMaSH IPA with Mosaic hops and it’s amazing. I’d love to compare it to Heady Topper and some of the famous NEIPAs out there like Trillium. Thanks!”
