- Style: New England Style IPA (NEIPA)
- ABV: 6.5%

- Hops: Citra is the star, known for high alpha acids and intense citrus/tropical aroma (grapefruit, lime, passionfruit). Often paired with El Dorado, Mosaic, or Simcoe to enhance the tropical and hazy profile.
- Appearance: Pours bright orange to straw color and great head retention.
- Aroma: Prominent notes that combine floral with vanilla.
- Flavor Profile: The beer presents a sweet, juicy profile to include ripe grapefruit, zesty lime, and tropical passionfruit.
- Mouthfeel: Soft mouthfeel, and highlights citrus and with a vanilla nose with minimal, if any, bitterness.
- Overall Impression: We view Citra Velvet IPA as an intense NEIPA but with a vibrant, juicy flavor that is very smooth, creamy, and provides a lingering vanilla finish. Our thanks to Marcelle at HEB for bringing this fantastic option to our attention. Great NEIPA and one that belongs in your fridge.

- rodbeermunch: This might have been my fave of the 12er. I’m not much of a fruited ipa fan, but the zesting, when done right, can be enjoyable like this product was, even if not life shattering or affirming.
